The steering wheel being the ugliest culprit; its a circle that decided too late in its life it wanted to be square but didn’t fully commit, and the large airbag housing is far too disproportional to the thickness of the steering wheel.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , but Aston didn’t commit with the DB11 and it just falls flat on its face.
The DB10, on the other hand, was masterfully crafted and beautifully detailed. What went wrong in the Bond-Movie-to-Showroom-Floor transition and DB++?

No modern-ish Aston interior was ever that good looking imo. Some come through here with rad color combos including the carbon , but the layouts were super dated. This looks simple at least, but pretty meh.

All hail squircles!
The DB11 logo/font on the nav screen is awful as well.

I don’t love it, but I’d rather have it ugly on the inside than the outside. Looking at you DB10.

Not the most cohesive design. Audi, BMW, Merc, and Jag can all do way better than this right now IMO. The creases around the vents look random in a Japanese way, the steering wheel looks overdesigned in a pagani esque Italian style with complex modern shapes everywhere, while the center console is classic english modernity. Someone was confused... gotta choose one design language and run with it. Those seats too... they are already ugly and will only get uglier over time. Like those cushy velour covered couches in seventies Cadillacs...

I think the DB11's interior is miles better than the DB10. The latter is just overwrought and ugly and looks like a Lexus exterior designer’s fever dream.

The execution on the whole is pretty fat and gross. Out of all of it, I find the steering wheel the least offensive. It’s not sexy. It’s not streamlined. It doesn’t look exclusive. I agree, the DB10 is much much better and it is what I would expect from this brand.
This other thing just looks fat. And sad about it.

I don’t dislike the interior, it sort of reminds me of the Pagani Huayra’s with a little less bling, especially the steering wheel. That said, I think you’re right the DB10 interior looks cooler and the steering wheel on that one is amazing and I’m betting the Red Bull supercar will get a similar one.

It’s still better than the previous Aston Martin standard wheel, which was a wide thing stuck firmly in the early 2000's.

Those air vents are gross, but otherwise I like it a lot better than the DB10's, which is just nasty.
